I completely agree!!!!! I have a feeling that some of these girls will crush a lot of the little boys who act like they are an underwear model with 20 Playboy bunnies waiting to fuck them.
I know there are going to be the guys that will bash the girls to build their egos of "I just yelled at a hot girl I am so cool". And of course the girls who will bitch becasue they are mad at themselves for not having the self esteem to join. The haters I like to call them.

All I have to say to the girls is don't let anything they say bother you. Every time someone says something that you want to let hurt or upset you, instead read what they said again but this time read it with a little laugh. It will make things way more enjoyable. There are a lot of "the glass is half empty" people around who think the sky is falling. Don't let their negativity effect you having a good time. Just tell them to GFY give them this little guy, :321GFY and move on to the people who will make you smile.

nobody ever said that the person HAD to be a member of GFY, I believe it says they HAVE to be a member of GFY... so in the next ten weeks, those that are only here for the contest, will not be able to hang, and those that adapt to the way of life here will become a good member just like you right?

were you not new at one time here? and tthen decided to stay? this is not a contest only to be about YOU ( or any individual) it is a contest meant to bring people together, attract new members that are really in the business and not just here to find free porn, or for those that come here to scare away their competition by creating a troublesome environment...

you as a contestant should be welcoming the size of the contest....cause even if you do not win the main prize package, you still have had TEN WEEKS to display your skills and possibly earn yourself, or your company more business,( the larger the contest, the larger the audience that gets to see you display your skills get it?) and if that is not what you entered for, then how are you any different, or better than the people you say only entered for the prize package in the first place?

Don't be discouraged by porn starts entering. My self-confidence is high enough that I don't care who I'm running against; I can hold my own against centerfolds and porn stars. Girls won't be penalized for not having a high post count, but if they never post, they will be toast. It is Miss GFY after all.

Although I've explained this before, I'll do it again so that you will know too. I registered in August 2003. The people who activate your account and allow you to post didn't activate my account for almost 6 months. I was very active in emailing asking for it to be activated. It was only AFTER attending AVN and Internet in January and meeting a lot of the Adult.com staff that I was finally allowed to post. So, the 183 posts you're referring to have been since January 14th. The Miss GFY contest announcement was February 28th.


My point is that in all fairness anyone who enters should have a registration date before the contest was announced and should have posted at least once. It's that simple. The ladies who registered and posted here before the contest was announced did so because they wanted to -- not for some big payout -- and will still be here after the contest ends.

I don't expect to win the grand prize because there are ladies who have been around much longer and have more skills than I. The money isn't even why I entered; I entered for the fun and the attention. If the new people want the same fun and attention, I can understand, but there are other more appropriate ways to get attention . Personally, I believe the final lady who gets crowned Miss GFY should be a long standing member (years, not months).

i'm curious as to what duties Miss GFY will have after attaining the crown.......it would be a shame to see the winner bolt after collecting the prizes.

My name is Beth, I am in the contest. I found GFY through a friend, a long time ago. I was looking to drive traffic to a site I had. So I have stuck around, mostly lurking over in Q and A, but under a diff name. I don't think I had more than 40 posts on that profile, I really just read stuff.

I decided to join the contest, because thats how people in the entertainment biz promote themselves. I act, model, wrestle, and dance, as well as being a geek who spends most of her day parked on her ass in front of the computer. I currently own one adult site, my personal site, and a few others.

I'll try to fit into your community as best I can. I really don't care either way whether or not people like me, I am just trying to promote my career and know some people will.
