Single Guys post your favorite recipes.

You know the shit you cook when you're not trying to impress the bitches...and fast food doesn't count..neither does t.v. dinners.

Quick, easy and dirty...macaroni and cheese mixed into hamburger meat.

Grilled cheese sammich for the webmaster on the go:

Toast the bread in the toaster...slap some mayo on it when it comes out put some cheese between it and then press real hard on the top and flatten it.

Hamburger meat can be mixed with just about anything and taste good...LOL

RanchStyle beans is another.

Something that takes a bit longer but is well worth the wait:

Some zatarains jambalaya with sausage.

Pork Adobo on Rice

Steam 3 cups of rice

For adobo, boil 1kg of pork shoulder with 1 clove of garlic, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 cups of water, 1/2 cup of vinegar. Boil till grease is released. Drain grease and fry pork in own grease.

Best spiced meat dish in the Philippines. Ready in less than 30 mins.

well, things have changed since my son moved back in. Currently the barbecue and crock pot are the two most frequently used items in my culinary arsenal

Nothing wrong with using the barbecue

We use it at least once a week here...I could probably eat grilled stuff everyday...burgers..steaks..chicken whatever.

I barbecue at least once a week, but the crock pot is so much easier, and usually results in leftovers, so it gets a lot of usage.

Not sure what my son is going to do when I am in Phoenix. Probably take out and tv dinners

one does not imply the other. When we bbq double cheese burgers eating over the sink is pretty much mandatory as they get to be a mess rather quickly

Cold pasta salad:

3 tomatoes
1 paprika pepper
some lettuce
150 grams of feta cheese
250 grams of pasta (penne rigate works well)
some olive oil
some red wine vinegar
basil
oregano
pepper

Chop all ingredients except the pasta into pieces, mix them up together, boil the pasta, cool the pasta (best way: drain, add cold water, drain, add cold water, drain), add the ingredients to the pasta, done.

Takes 13 minutes, tastes great and is even pretty healthy.

i buy the frozen ground turkey meat and the taco seasoning mix and brown the meat then add the mix with water and put cheese and refried beans on it with taco shells or burrito shells. its fast, cheap, and easy to make. not to mention healthy. you cant tell the difference between the turkey meat and ground beef.

Noodles:

Boil some noodles, stirfry some veggies, add noodles to veggies, add soy sauce as well, done.
Takes less than 10 minutes, tastes good and, again, it's pretty healthy.

Stock up on frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts. The first few days of the week have it with potato and salad. Then later in the week have them with rice and broccoli.

boneless chicken always ends up in the crock pot. Throw it in frozen, come back 6 hours later and it is ready
