So I went to a BBQ yesterday at noon and got home at 2am.

I intentionally decided to NOT take my 'Chaser' pills since I've been taking them the past 3 weeks while I was on Spring Break.

I wanted to see if they had really been working or if it was just all in my head.

My head is killing me today....I can't remember feeling this bad any day on Spring break that I took the pills.

Final Summary....this shit works. It's just activated carbon that absorbs toxins.

$6.00 for 10 pills. $25.00 for a bottle of 40. Take two per drinking session.

water seems to work well for me... i guess i will give those a shot if i can find them in canada

i've been on a drinking hiatus for the last few months to lose weight and save some nickels, but i'm back on the bottle next month so i'll check em out!

Water does work well too......but the pills make a significant difference on how you feel in the morning.

There were a few nights in Cancun that I drank a lot and forgot to drink some water before I passed out. I still woke up ready to go hit the beach.

I've only used the pills once and they did take away the hangover but I did feel kinda weird. Not like hangover gitters but more like I had taken some sort of ephidrine pills

What "toxins" is this scam really absorbing and how are these "toxins" causingn a hangover. Those stupid pills sound like a scam from the start since I know of no toxins being in my drinks.

the ingredients are:

Activated Calcium Carbonate
Vegetable Carbon
whey, microcystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, croscarmellose, sodium, stearic acid, carnauba wax, magnesium stearate.

I worked at a vet for 3 years during high school and I remember helping to pump activated charcoal into the stomachs of many dogs that had ingested anti-freeze or other toxic chemicals.

The charcoal binds to the toxins and then we'd induce vomiting to clean the animal out.

The pills are just activated carbon aka charcoal. So the effect must be the same.

Has anyone ever heard that if you drink top shelf liquors you won't feel as hungover as if you had been drinking the cheap crap??

Why is that? It must be that the higher quality liquors are more pure or something.

The Heron ~ I was skeptical too. A friend of mine swore by the pills and I went through 30 pills over the course of 2 weeks when I was in Cancun and Key West.

GNC has little 2 pill packs at the register. Next time you plan on having more than a few drinks give them a try.
