The LCD's are nice but for the price you can outfit your study, bedroom and bathroom with plasmas. The price drop on LCD's will come swiftly and the selection will increase exponentially. I'd wait to see what the other manufacturers come with before I'd make that leap.

Don't use that specific SONY LCD model as a reference. LCD's are much cheaper than plasma.

Heh, yeah. The damn tech cycle. That's the thing that had me trying to hold out for a G5 Powerbook for 6 months. I got tired of waiting and got an Athlon 64 laptop instead. :arcadefre

I don't think the wait will be long. Only a few companies are making them in that size. I think around Christmas we will see a price drop and a heck of a selection.

i know size is a concern for you, but now that I remember when I was looking 2 years ago I bought regular 65" toshiba cause it did blow away the plasma's for clarity. I had the room for it though so i wasn't concerned
