Brutal, I have a friend, she got married at 19, popped out a kid... divorced at 22, then put herself through school with no money and no support. ROUGH life, and her poor kid only sees her dad a couple times a year. To top it off, her dad is a fucking asshole.

First off, chances are most of you are out of shape, pale, don't try and keep yourself looking good, and have absolutely 0 game with women.

Women get better with age. Sorry, but the average 18-25 year old is simply, well, too fucking stupid for me. Sorry, but when every story you tell starts with "I was soooooooo drunk..." ,you've never travelled, never lived on your own, dated a couple guys and had mostly longer term movie + dinner relationships, chances are I will get bored of them after the first week.

What do women think of you? Shouldn't that be important? If you're a good catch, finding a "good" woman should be easy. What right-minded woman would want to be married by 24? Isn't that about the time they've been done their degree and in the workforce for a year? That's a little fucking early for "UNTIL DEATH DO US PART". Modern women either swing one extreme or the other. Either married and popping out kids, or gladly making money and living a life other than barefoot in the kitchen / on welfare / struggling with no education.

Every checked lavalife.com ? If I wanted to find a new girlfriend, it would take me $20 in credits to find a new hot, thin babe with an education, her own car, and her own place. That's the type of shit I'm talking about. Get someone on equal footing as you. Who wants to date someone who has nothing / experienced nothing / has no goals / etc? That's basically what you're looking at when it comes to most women younger than 24. My girlfriend is in nursing school and works as a manager at a large retail chain. She's busy enough to allow me to have my own life, and I'm really happy that she's got drive to get A's in school and make good money while putting herself through school.

But seriously, it depends on the individuals and their approach to the situation. My grandparents were married when they were 18/19, and stayed together until my grandfather's death at the young age of 56. Had he lived I am convinced they would be together today. Granted, a different time and different attitudes, but they were true partners. I think they had what it takes.

A person who thinks a woman over 24 is washed up is unlikely to have a long term relationship with anyone other than a goldfish.

Same with my Oma and Opa. However, different age, different beliefs.

I was married at 22 and divorced at 33. Never expected to be married that young, and certainly never expected to be divorced, ever. My parents divorced when I was 16, and I was SURE I would never go that route. :(

We probably should have split at least five years earlier, but we did take it at least a bit seriously. Two people in the relationship, two people at fault. I could write pages about why things didn't work out, but I would only write from my point of view and I would be a real bitch about it.

So suffice it to say, at 22 you really don't know who you are and you have no idea who you're going to become. Such things as, say, shared tastes in music become much less important in the long term.

I don't know if I agree that the vows taken are hollow. (I also don't know if I disagree). I will say they are often taken without a true understanding of what they mean.

That's just the way life is isn't it? Nothing lasts forever. Most be be married by 24 but by early 30s alot are probably free again. Just wait for round 2. :)

Normal men want a woman who's nice and cute. That's all. Nice means she's friendly and considerate. She won't cheat and doesn't run him down all the time.

Women aren't usually cute after thirty because they let themselves go. If they stay in shape they might make it to forty. After that they look like someone's mother, even if they're not.

If you want to get married, do it before you're thirty. If you want kids, marry before you turn 25.

Age is not a limiting factor in who I date. Im 22, and while I refuse to date younger than me, I can date some guys that are older, and we have no problem in our conversations. (though, my girlfriends husband loves making over my head jokes about the age when he grew up)
