its a 5 megapixel camera. The images you see are VERY reduced. the originals are around 2 megs a piece with a resoloution of 2560x1920Comment

dimage a1 is a nice digicam!SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

I have to say im very impressed with the dimage so far. I spent about 680.00 for mine, thats including the overnight shipping. Got a few extras that I purchased later like (2) 256 flash memory cards (dont ask why I didnt get the 512, long story) got the dual battery grip extension for it ($100.00) A decent tripod ($50.00) An extra lithium extended life battery ($30.00) 1 gig microdrive ($180 off ebay) remote control cord ($45) and a nice aluminum case off ebay for ($40.00) and now im all set.
Next investment will be some umbrella lighting and external flashes.
All told right now I have about $1300.00 invested in the package and I couldnt be happier with it.Comment
