I think to pull existing links is unrealistic, but to profit from the death through adwords or making new sites is cold and shabby ... maybe just a little thought is needed to get the right mix..

You're taking my opinion to the extreme. Sending money to the relatives of every dead porn star is stupid. This case is radically different in that she most likely killed by a photographer. It just makes us all look bad to the general public, because they don't know better.

Taking advantage of a situation like this is something that happens. If you have the means to do so, then by all means do it. I'm just saying I think it would help us all if her family didn't go on a rampage about how porn is evil.

She is not just died. She was murdered (discomposed etc). This fact became world popular news. Thus some people are trying to make money not just on her content, but on the fact of her murder.

I can't speak for all news agencies, but at least where I'm from they set up donation accounts for the families of victims they feature on the news. Then then advertise these donation accounts on the news, which goes a long way to help fill up that account.

death equals = $ and I dont always see funds set up. the local news here is set up like a tv show.

cops shot a woman last night in LA.

she was involved in a high speed chase and crashed and was shot by the cops.

I didnt see any remorse for her at all.

In fact, the just kept showing the cops and the crash and "where her body was" but I guess "speeders" dont get theirs either.

I'm sure there were plenty of people who sent princess di's family flowers, while they were simultaneously creating avenues for revenue earnings.

But, see....my dilemma is this.

I'm not sure there is a reason to do this for her family.

Just like Fletch was talking about the high speed chase death, isn't there some sense of responsibility on Taylor for going to this particular photographer without an escort?

And, while I have the greatest amount of sympathy for her family, I'm not so sure I would feel obligated to do anything for them, whether I put sites up to profit or not.

I won't put sites up. Neither will I take down her content on my existing sites, nor do I feel I should send her family money.
