I will vomit of Kerry gets blown out of the water this election...I just can't understand how Bush, arguably one of the most unpopular presidents ever, manages to get such support during election season. You got to give him and his campaign machine props for getting every single mother fucking pro-bush citizen out to the voting booth. I'm scared for the future.

The country is more divided now than during Clinton's presidency and it will only get worse in the months before the election. Don't forget to read this book: ![]() |

How do you get "one of the most unpopular presidents ever" ? Give or take a couple percent - isn't it true that about half the country support Bush? A lot of well informed, educated, just as much as any Democrate, are going to vote for him. It will be close, and both parties know it. Don't you?

I should clarify...Unpopular, in the media, as shown in the CC video. (true, big media tends to be liberal)
While Clinton got a lot of shit from media types, it was in a much more lighthearted manner. Shit, Jay Leno loved the dude, even MC'd his dinner celebration for his final days in office back in 2000. Personally, I don't feel the country is that divided, I think people want Bush out...But those that want to keep him in office are more likely to go to the polls this November. |

If I were the president, I would be very disappointed in myself if only 50 percent of the voting population thought I was doing a good job. That's half ass. If you truly are doing a good job, you should have much more votes than that.

Why? History shows it's normal. Check out the Highs and Lows of the last 5-6 Presidents. 50% is OK at this time in an election. I'm sure they would both like to have more - but some of these people seem to think that 95% of the country is against him - which pretty much shows where they are getting their news.

Yeah... not having a real third party has been a bummer for 200 years now. It's a wonder the cock roaches haven't taken over the world by now.

Love him or loathe him: Electorate polarized over Bush In a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll last weekend, 91% of Republicans and 17% of Democrats approved of the job Bush is doing. No other president has had as big a gap since Gallup began measuring job approval by party in 1948. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...arizedoverbush |

I don't know how to respond to this, your respose reply was so...not caring. There are many people in the country dissatisfied with the status quo of R VS D. Some people don't even bother voting because they feel that either candidate suck and will be more of the "same old". The lack of voter turnout in the US is sad, that is why I'd like to see a stronger third party emerge to bring out more of the population. I don't know the best way for this to be done...but I'd be great to see something unique happen in the American political landscape. You said it yourself - no (major) change in 200 years. Very few nations have gone so long without political party makeup changing. I actually can't think of a single country. |
