Hosting with iicinternet.com ?

Just opened an account with <a href=http://www.iicinternet.com/web_hosting_services.php>http://www.iicinternet.com/web_hosting_services.php</a>
They have very good prices and promise high speed.
But now I'm a little disappointed of the speed.

any body who use them? comments?...

Maybe, but i send them an e-mail asking if I can get more space then 1000 mb and some questions about dedicated servers, and never got any answer.

Leave and make sure that you block them from billing your account. They do suck as much as you think they do. Don't hang around to find out. Search the number of horror stories about them on this board... Oh yeah, if the function doesn't work search reviews on them in google.

They screwed things up so many times for me, and also billed me for months after I had canceled. They don't give you the speed you think you are getting, and I could see the folders of the other users on my box. RUN RUN RUN!!!!

Thinking about IIC Internet. . .

RUN!

Run home and bury your wallet in the backyard. They suck more than you'd think a hosting company could suck.

How can I block just them from billing me, without blocking my whole credit card?

Just make sure that transaction charges from them are do not show up next month. I would call ahead to your card issuer and tell them that if that a charge shows up from them the next month that it is not supposed to (as a precaution). As far as I know they have charged a couple people I know for a few months after they cancled. I'm not saying they will do it to you, but they did it to me and two other people I know.

They said they would refund me, but they never did, so now I have been sending it to the fraud department from my card issuer. unfortunately bank one did not help me much in getting my money back.

Not possible at all, as far as I know

If someone has your CC details and keeps charging it month after month, you can always do chargebacks, but your only choice to stop it is cancelling the card

That's what my bank told me anyway

I thought the same as you, and I thought the same as most people would in thinking that. However, bankone changed their chargeback policy in OCT 2003 as did many other cards making chargebacks harder and making it necessary to fill out FRAUD paperwork.

Hard to believe? Yeah, I couldn't believe they told me that unless I was willing to cancel and get a new card that they could keep on charging it and each time I would have to fill dispute paperwork.

Yes, I had trouble believing a company that big would be that far out of the loop. I said to them, "Is this 1990? or 2003?"

If you don't believe, I think two other people in this thread have mentioned IIC doing this to them as well!

I used IICInternet for about 1 year and always had problems. I actually just cancelled my account a few days ago. I had a dedicated plan. The speed of the server or network (didn't bother to check) would crawl like a bitch all the time. If I were you I would find a different host. I thought it was only temporary but it happened alot. Also, every now and then I couldn't access the server for 30 minutes at a time. In my opinion, everything was flaky.

i've tried iicinternet and eboundmedia before.. i wouldn't recommend eboundmedia to anyone .. 2 days after they received my payment for that month they cancelled my account without notice.

you get what you pay for.

Go with thexxxhost.com.
