Passion of the Christ considered Pornography

Passion of the Christ is now rated X in Mexico. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to see it. Crazy.

Looking for a link, tunr on MSNBC for the story.

Maybe because it's every detail is showing
a lot more blood than depicting the life
of Christ.

Mexico?
Isn't it the same country where they let their children rot away in the streets ?

X does not equate pornography.

In the beginning X was what we now know as NC-17 it meant Adult.

Pornographers snagged it and started labeling their stuff XXX.

One of my all time favorite films, The Midnight Cowboy was rated x when it first came out...it would barely pass for R now...and that is mainly due to some homosexual themse in it.

It's like 16 + . I honestly felt very bad during the movie and it's a good thing kids can't see it .

X-Rating? this should be properly cleared
out since it depicts a wrong message to the people, the fact the movie was commended by millions of viewers.

Maybe the news report was "Passion gets the same rating as pornography" or soemthing. I don't remember anymore, that was like a week ago. This week there is new drama to worry about.

I think they run across the border into California. Or they hide in a car and watch it at the drive in.

Right wingers would be protesting the violence in the movie if it wasn't a message they approved of.

There is no one more hypocritical than the right wingers.

It was fairly graphic. I mean come on you cannot say that "lashings" scene was not graphic. That was one of the worst things I have ever seen.

I didn't think it was a good movie anyhow. It's saving people the cost of a movie in my opinion!
