for the record.

i dont trust ANY OF THE MOTHER FUCKERS hehe

my girlfriend lost her purse one night when we went out, and we found out later the person had tried to use her ss to get a bank account in another state and shit, very weird things can and do happen.

When i was 20 and got my first "checking account" the bank sent the ard to me in the mail activated and i had my account cleared, sure it was refunded but the damage was done.

i dont TRUST ANY ONE I GIVE MY CARD TO.

especially high priced hollywood bartendars too, ivwe had bartendars run 200$ on my card in a night and i only had a 70$ tab! only found out the next day though, good thing i didnt sign it.

:thumbsup

McDonalds has always accepted debit cards up here, but so has every store/restaurant. I agree with KRL, if you have to put 99 cents on your Visa, it's time to stop eating and start looking for a better job.

DreamCumTrue 03-26-2004 12:16 PM

Great, now it's going to take even longer to get through the drive thru. Those fuckers with debit cards at the drive thru piss me off. GO TO THE FUCKIN BANK!

did you ever think that some people might not have cash on them or that a credit card is more convenient?

are you serious? have you even charged anything? using a charge card for purchases is faster than paying with cash if anything.

TheLegacy 03-26-2004 12:30 PM

geez.. been doing that in canada for a long time now

i agree, i dont really trust anyone with anything.... but giving them your credit card the worst thing they can do is charge something up and as long as you check your statements (this can be done online) then if you see something you didnt charge you can do a chargeback. you're pretty much taking the same risk using cash with the risk of them short changing you.

mcdonalds might be my choice for lunch soon.mcveggie w/cheese rules!

mpulse 03-26-2004 12:37 PM

Convenience is going everywhere!

LadyMischief 03-26-2004 12:39 PM

Handy as hell, I never carry cash on me... I live by the debit card... I rarely use my cc, but knowing that my kids like to remove cards from my purse (and I've been caught without my debit card before because of that), it would be nice to know I could use my cc lol.

Gabriel 03-26-2004 12:43 PM

I've already charged back 2 orders that they've got wrong.

AOJ Brian 03-26-2004 12:46 PM

I get airmiles for everything I buy with my credit card, here in Canada.. so I usually run whatever I can through it.

Really adds up the miles nicely, and doesn't cost me a cent. ;)

EZRhino 03-26-2004 12:53 PM

Smart move, they'll get a larger market that way.

They don't have that here yet, we do have the BKveggie at Burger King. It's OK but I always want the big fries to go with it:1orglaugh

Butrflied 03-26-2004 01:10 PM

Most fast food places around here already accept cards. At Wendy's you dont have to sign and the receipt prints at the 2nd window, so they swipe your card and you move on to the next window, you get your bag and go .. much faster then paying with cash.

That's what debit cards are up here, like Visa check cards, they take money from your bank account. They're what almost everyone here has used for about 10 years instead of cash. Credit cards take longer to pay than cash or debit, I hate when people pay by cc at subway and shit.

No I've never charged a happy meal to a credit card, thanks for asking. :1orglaugh

jmarzlak 03-26-2004 02:27 PM

yea in orlando, they always have because the college students use mommy and daddys cc

BiggleJones 03-26-2004 02:37 PM

About time. When I dont have cash, the only place I can usually go to is Subway.

jhauser 03-26-2004 02:41 PM

How much is the fee? The local burger king charges 95 cents. So your 99 cent fries cost cost 1.94.. sweet deal.

Tight 03-26-2004 02:43 PM

its a good move.

Can I pay for a 'Happy Meal' with my credit card?

myjah 03-26-2004 05:34 PM

lots of fast food places are doing that now. i like it cause i get caught without cash alot

Rhino22 03-26-2004 05:36 PM

you can already use it here too.

kush 03-26-2004 05:43 PM

It's good to have some cash on you, like when the CC system is down, like it was for me today at the post office when I had to overnight an envelope.
