Looking for new bands like Sex Pistols

Anything like that around anymore? I like The White Stripes also, so I'm basically looking for new shit, raw, organic, chaotic and real. Drop some names

Don't have any names for you, but listen around here a bit and you'll probably find something you like http://live365.com/cgi-bin/directory...TAC&genre=punk (the stations are all run by individuals. Use the Live365 player so it will show you info for each song.

AFI and No Use For A Name? Their sound is polished as. If you want raw kind of punk you could try Rancid or Anti-Flag, you may also appreciate some ska-core type stuff like Operation Ivy (who happen to be my favourite band).

It's not nice the Pistols, at least by today's standards, sound exactly unpolished or anything. They tried to sound raw (and did, for their day), but they still had some production value.

I'd agree on the No Use For A Name and OpIvy fronts - love them both. Add in The Distillers, definitely... or maybe go dig back a few years for your old DRI albums...

Try Google for "Unknown Trash" or "Reptile Underground".

Get on soul seek and do a search for "killed by death" or "kbd" comps. Great fucking shit.

It's not really like Sex Pistols, but Simple Frustration is good. There out of Chicago.
