At first I used Adware then they stopped updaing the datebase for it so every since then I kept on using Spybot. Ill give Adware another try agian

Those help keep spyware in check

I am fucking amazed by the sheer volume of spyware/adware/worms and shit going around on the internet today. I formatted my computer this past weekend and reinstalled windows. I made the mistake of not setting up my firewall and anti virus before i connected to the internet.
Within minutes, i had 3 worms, and quite a few spyware and adware programs running. So cue the next format and reinstall.. didn't make that mistake again.26 + 6 = 1Comment

Just dealt with this shit for a friend last week and this is what I did.
AdAware by lavasoft - removes known adware/tracking shit. Make sure to get updates after you install and before you run it.
Spybot S&D - removes the bullshit that adaware didn't get. Like adaware, get the updates after installing and before using on your system.
Spyware Blaster - to prevent against common intrusions in the future.
All worked great so far.Don't look here for the joke. It's in your pants.
