Got it home and I can SEE all the files on the disk - but they just WONT copy over to my harddrive. i keep getting this message: Cannot Copy file:cannot read form source file or disk is there anythign I can do - or is it comepletely fucked? will i have to wait and get a new disc? I know i can get the whole assignment done tonight if I can just get the program to run |

it might be because teacher didn't close the disc and it will only read from the burner it was made with until then.

could be because of the disk not being closed like someone said above or an error when they burned it.. i have had some cases where a re-writable cd for some odd reason wont copy on my older computer's cdrom

Shit that is what I thought might be the problem
it's Autodesk's AUSTOSKETCH version 2 (like 1994 edition LOL) I can only find version 8 on the internet Iand I already got that one. BUT because the new version makes most mundane tasks automated they wont accept it I have to use version 2 so i can "prove" that I know how to do all the stuff that Im gonna be graded on REALLY sucks oh well - guess I'll have to wait |
