data recovery companys

ok I have a hard drive that died on me... I have most of my stuff backed up but seems I've lost some stuff on the HD that wasn't backed up..

Can anyone recomend any good data recovery services? I belive it's just the controler card , as the HD didn't fail. I had a Power supply kill the drive and a few other componets.

I think you are better off buying your own software, like easy recovery pro and do it yourself. It might be more expensive but you will always have a recovery solution in your pocket.

Does the bios detect the hd? If so, then recovering software could do it.

I recommend these guys..

http://www.actionfront.com/

They've always come through for me, they will negotiate the price, they're quick and they have a great website that keeps you updated on your drive every step of the way.
