saw him a few years ago. He plays things he wrote. So, pleanty of Beatles but some wings thrown in (though I don't know now that Linda died).

Hey Jude was fantastic in the big arena.

My mother almost beat up the old lady behind us but that is a different story.

Nah, I haven't seen him personally but
he's a great music icon. So are the rest
of the Beatles.

I was at a concert last summer because I love Beatles, Wings and Paul's solo stuff. The concert was the worst I have ever attended and after 20 minutes I was so fucking bored and just wanted to leave but I couldn't cuz the gf wanted to see it through. The show got decent during Live and let Die and the singalong to hey jude, but other than that you better bring a chair that you can nap in cuz he's booooring on stage.

woman behind us kept talking loudly and right into my mom's ear through every slow song. My mother, who is a born again Christian, junior high school science teacher and was a Paul crazed fan as a teen, got more and more annoyed. At one point the woman said something along the lines of (during Yesterday) 'oh my god, this is the best concert I have ever been to, I wish my kids were here to hear it!'

In one split second my mother turned into psycho bitch from hell - i swear her head spun totally around - and screamed 'Well my kids ARE here so if you aren't going to shut your ugly face so they CAN hear it I will shut it for you!'.

My sister and I almost wet our pants right there. I had visions of my mom as a teenager beating up George fans. An insight I maybe shouldn't have had.

The Beatles are definately the greatest band ever, but McCartney has some good songs he wrote post-Beatles. Maybe I'm Amazed, Silly Love Songs, Helen Wheels, Let 'em In, Live and Let Die, just to name a few. Should be an awesome show.

He actually lives on the outskirts of Rye in Sussex, which is just a few minutes away from here. Nice part of the world.

He owns the rights to "A Chorus Line", "Annie" and the song "Happy Birthday". Yup, every time you sing it in public you owe him money ;)
