I hate the shit where they do things like weed stings ... where they make fake baggies of weed and go undercover and try selling dimes to people, and then arrest when they buy ... the fuckin cops need something better to do than that, I watched Cops once and saw them doing that, the cop practically forced it on people begging them to buy, then when they caved, arrested them.

I have never ever seen the police do anything worthwhile. They're always there when you don't want them to be (giving out petty speeding tickets, busting young people for smoking weed), when they should be out catching murderers and rapists, and whenever they would actually be useful they're no where to be found.Comment

I got pulled over for the first time in Arizona yesterday. Everything was "yes sir" or "no officer". I was doing well over 100 mph; This cop had the power to arrest me and impound my bike. Instead I got off with a warning.

I totally agree that it's the timing that determines what you call them. Pigs if you get pulled over or arrested by them or Heroes if you're helped or rescued by them.
I think all police officers should be required to have a 4 year college degree. Lack of education is usually the precursor to corruption on the police force.

I've never been in any situation ever in my life that the police could have -- or did help me.
They dont go around knocking on doors giving out gold stars for being good citizens.. even if i roll my car and the cop calls an ambulance for me, i'm sure he'll write me a ticket for litering or something.
It takes a certain kind of person to be a policeman, and by that i mean a little dicked uneducated megalomaniacal asshole with an inferiority complex who gets off on having control over other people..
your typical beat cop has pretty much infinite power at street level to bully and intimidate, and they know it.

I was doing only 85 at 65 zone and the pigs stopped me, ask for the DL and didn't say a word.
come back later with a ticket for 193 USD and 4 points minus.
