which one to trust more? i'm trying several keywords, and overture almost always gives a much higher count than wordtracker.

Overture is going to give you Yahoo, MSN, AV and others. Wordtracker is gonna give you (if memory serves) Mamma and a few others. They're both worth using, IMHO... but if you're gonna use one, make it Overture's Search Term Suggestion Tool...

neither overature doesn't know how to diferentiate between plural and non-plural words, and the difference is enormous..

use the google adwords keyword suggestion tool.
