Why is Bush so bad? Let's compile a list!

Hey. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Bush by any means. I don't like him just as much as the rest of you.

I don't know if this has been posted before or not, but I am trying to come up with a list of reasons as to why the general public doesn't like Bush. Feel free to add to this list. If you are pro-bush, then post of the good things he has done! So far, here is what
I've got:

1. A war in Iraq in hopes of finding weapons of mass destruction.
2. $1 Trillion Deficit
3. Huge unemployment rate since he stepped into office(don't know the exact amount).

Add to this list! Let's goooooooo!

He didn't goto ware simply on the hopes of finding mass destruction weapons. Everyone from the right to the left to the U.N. thought he had weapons before the war. The real question for our country shouldn't be why doesn't he have weapons. But what did he do with them. Because it is a fact at one time he did have them and no one that is speaking up knows what he did with them.

Secondly, he didn't make the debt all by him self. It's been growing since most of us can remember. However, he hasn't exactly helped it. But, if you took econ 101 you'd know that he isn't supposed to in times of recession. In times of recession the gov't needs to spend money to start the ball rolling again. He gave tax breaks in hopes consumers would spend the money and get the ball rolling again.

The unemployment rates do drop in recessions. Unfortunatly he hasn't ended the recession on jobs as quick as everyone would like but I won't give up on him yet. He's had a lot of obstacles to overcome just to get the economy moving in the right direction again which he has.

The main reason Bush started the war against Iraq is because he was SO certain that he had WMD's. Yes, of course everyone knew that Iraq had WMD's at one point in time...what country doesn't?

And since everyone knew he had WMD's for the 'longest time', why didn't any other country or President of the US go after him and finish the job his pap's started? Why did the acusations start flying around right when Bush entered office?

If I hate him so much? Unfortunetly half the US hates him just as much as me. Unfortunetly he is sitting in office when the majority of Americans didn't vote for him.

How 'bout all we 'bush haters' go key his SUV? And if you like him so much, list some reasons why. I'm just compiling a list here .

No it was because he defied the world community for 10 years, repeatedly messing with them. He had a track record of having WMD AND USING THEM against others.

Nobody knew what weapons he had and not knowing is every bit as dangerous as knowing he has a whole stock pile of them.

Well hey, don't get me wrong: it would have been awesome to say Bush was right and have him found the WMD's. I would love the guy! But the fact is, he DIDN'T! Bombings took place that killed thousands of civilians. But that's okay, because he is going to find the WMD's. It's better to lose a few civillians here and there in order to justify a war, right? Back on the subject of compiling a list, here is what Mr. Bush has done for America since he has been in office:

1. Cut $39 million from federal spending on libraries.
2. Cut $35 million in funding for advanced pediatric training for doctors.
3. Cut funding for research into cleaner, more efficient cars and trucks by 28 percent.
4. Broken his campaign promise to invest $100 million per year in rain forest conservation.
5. Pulled out the 1997 Kyoto Protocol agreement on global warming, ultimately signed by 178 other countries.
6. Denied college financial aid to students convicted of misdemeanor drug charges.
7. Proposed elimination of the "reading is fundamental" program, which gives free books to poor children.

The list goes on and on....

First off, wmd's don't last decades without maintenance. And secondly, most wmd's where destroyed and others where just lost and useless.

There's no way in hell you're gonna come here and tell me with a straight face that with all the technology we have we where unable to detect Saddam's wmd's. They got satellites that take pics of underground labs in North Korea, machines that can sniff enriched uranium and who knows what else?
If Saddam was such a genius and was able to hide all those wmd's he would've kicked our asses by now.
Oh and btw, NK actually does have WMD's, who's invading?

Of course not, but he made a huge part of it.

Sadly Saddam could have killed and tortured just as many by now. Anyway I agree with your list so far...

6. Denied college financial aid to students convicted of misdemeanor drug charges.
7. Proposed elimination of the "reading is fundamental" program, which gives free books to poor children.
8. Anti gay rights issues
9. 1 Trillion $ national debt, meaning the majority of taxes go on interest repayment.

Get in the way? He thinks he's on a mission from God. It's not getting in the way, for him it is the way.

He should also do it for students qwho drink alcohol too.

Students with DUIs shouldnt be allowed financial aid either, you know they drink part of the money.

Alcohol related crimes are just as bad as drug related, dont be a hypocrit there.

oh wait, impossible.

Even Bush had a DUI

So the problem is crazy people. If tomorrow all religions disappeared, new ones will be created just as fast.

So I assume you are for that douchebag Kerry.

Let me see what Kerry would do if he was faced with the following

Terrorist attack on our own soil.
Stock Market tumbled 1200 points.
Airlines were about to go bankrupt.

What do you think his plans would be if that was to happen?

Considering all Bush was faced with not even being 9 months in office, I think he has done a stellar job.

He has my vote for another 4 years.

Democrats can lick my left nut.

Hrmm, okay, so you say because the attack was on American Soil he should invade Afghanistan, Iraq, and the rest of the middle east countrys that are lined up?

The war in Afghanistan is justified by 9/11, in a way. The war in Iraq is not.

Okay, my point here is that people with murder convictions or theft, etc... can still get financial aid. It doesn't make sense to normal people, but Bush isn't normal.

Your dam right we should.....

That whole area is a fucking cancer and we are treating it with our own version of Kemo.

As for Iraq, Hussein wrote his own death sentence back in 90 and if for one second you don't think we are better off with him out of power, than you are a sad case.

I don't care if we never find any WMD's. He barked at the notion of having them with his antics and we bit and bit hard.

I'm sure if Canada was digging and exporting oil from your own land you wouldn't mind it at all
Interesting that you don't care about him using chemical and biological weapons on Iran but you really do care when he invades a country that was taking away his oil.
No, it's a bad long term strategy. The Iraqis are gonna depend on us for decades and centuries to come and don't be surprised to see problems emerge. It's gonna be a country with endless problems.

Once again, Kim Jong have wmd's and he seems to have a mentality very similar to that of Hitler. If for one second you don't think we should put him out of power, then you are a sad case.
