with Frankie Goes to Hollywood as the opening act

Tears for Fears just recently announced they are reforming. It is on the back of a couver of one of their songs - Gary Jule's version of Mad World from the Donnie Darko soundtrack - recently being a huge hit in the UK over christmas.

Frankie - Holly Johnson has HIV, he does lots of tv but not sure about if he is singing.

Morrissey or The Smiths or both :)

Morrissey makes me want to blow my brains out, way too depressing for me, Psychedelic furs was decent but also leans on the depressing side of street.

I would die to see some early Pink Floyd even as far back as Syd Barret, or see early U2 from the 80's although I like all U2 really but early songs in particular. 80s was kinda cheese though, now that I think about it..

Ironhorse 03-17-2004 11:36 PM

Did anyone like Dexy's Midnight Runners? They sang 'Common Eileen'

Um, the lead singer, Kevin Rowland, had an album out a couple years ago. He isn't wearing overalls anymore.

This was the cover:

Motorhead are still very much together and play gigs all the time. Lemmy shows up to a lot of metal gigs at the Astoria...can always look up to the VIP balcony and see him there. The mole man!

he made a big thing about him going public about being a cross dresser. Apparently some of the songs were good but their were posters of that cover all over London. As they were pretty big hits over here a few people were shocked!

Pouges..still touring. Infact, in January when I was on my way home from Vegas I saw the were slated to play Philly.
