Two new ideas I just had - a new niche, and a superior form of mainstream commercials
Idea 1: Have you noticed that when you have seen a television commercial utilizing music a few times, you "forever" connect that music to the commercial/product, even if it is normal music you simply just haven't heard too much before? I have, and I think that as soon as people in the television commercial industry realize the potential flowing from this, they are going to pay nice bank to upcoming and/or big artists to be allowed to use their music in commercials BEFORE the music ever is released to the public.
Not only will large masses of people have "linked-up" memories of the commercials constantly refreshed at the very conscious level (not merely sub-conscious), but people will also have the commercials as their only source of the music until it is released, thereby watching it more. Idea 2: EDIT that. I'll give it to a paysite-running friend instead. |

commercials already use unreleased songs because its good for them and the artist as people buy the single/album when it is released
