Agreed. Most of those pics are probably from hosted galleries, so he wouldn't be pitching this to freeloaders who have already seen them.

A link off a blog or a suitable BBS would probably send some nicely qualified visitors.

I don't think there is any question about his use of the images, he is using sponsor content without permission.
