MJ is all-time no doubt....but Kobe is best now... Although Kobe does everything MJ does, copies him completely. Sometimes i think Kobe plays bad in the first half on purpose, jus so he can b clutch and win the game in the second. Make him more lik MJ. He's wants to be the next Jordan.
Actually I think the whole Laker team does that. They always suck the first half and den turn up their D in the second... but it does make the games more exciting and interesting!!

A healthy Kobe is more talented than MJ. A lot of people have nostalgia around Michael so they inevitably are afraid to admit it. Jordan never could have accomplished what Kobe has accomplished at the same age.

Thing is, Kobe is the best. And someday, someone will come along and be better than him and when that happens, everyone will have the same argument for Kobe.

And if you really want to break it down, I would say Magic was better than Jordan. He made superstars out of players that would never have received any repect on any other team.

Mcgrady had fox on him in first 3 quarters and put up 21 in the first half and another 10 in the 3rd when Kobe asked to be put on him. Kobe shut his ass down and put up 24 points in the 4th to erase something like a 19 point deficit.

LoL... yea its a sore subject for me.. Always has been. Put it this way in my office here i have a huge post of Kobe. At my home I have autographed framed, jerseys, and balls.. Definately a huge fan of Kobe who I feel never gets his due. Last year he put up the most consecutive 35 point games in NBA history. During that same streak he put up the most consecutive 40 point games in history. Everytime I turn around he is doing something amazing and he never gets credit. I would hate to see him go somewhere else next year so he can go and be the great player he is because we are worried about a slowing player in Shaq. Kobe is our future not shaq.

I've been a long-time Lake-show fan... and last night was a pretty damn awesome game. The show that Kobe put in the late quarters... damn. That's what it's all about... the will to not let your team get embarassed at home.

Dont get me wrong, i'm a T-mac fan too ... he's got potential to be great ... but it's just not coming thru.... he just doesnt have the work ethic like Kobe. T-mac just cant will his team out of the dumpers. Remember the Magic losing that 2-0 lead in the playoffs last year? Then take a look at the beginning of this season... you think Kobe would ever let his team lose 25 straight!!?? ... with Shaq gone most of last season.. and Kobe leading the likes of mark madsen, derrick fisher, bob horry... guys who would not even start on another squad ... Kobe pretty much found a way to get 51 wins out of last season.... when no-one said it'd be possible.

2years ago.. there was this big debate about who you'd want.. T-mac or Kobe... 2 years have passed.. and the divide has never been greater... when challenged by critics... Kobe stepped up.. and showed what a real franchise player is all about!..
