made a living for a few years off poker online and local casino.
won about 150 tourneys throughout those years, most online, best win was 100k tourney at royalvegaspoker.com, won 30k for first.

I loved playing the 1/2, 2/4 tables, on good days about 500-600$
slower days when theres 0 luck on my side did about 200-300$

still play every now and then but using the money ive earned on other things now

Don't have a solid month of play to use as an example. On limit when I play usually end up $500 to $1500 ahead in a 1 to 10 hour session. That's on a 5/10 table. No limit been averaging around $250 an hour on the small buy in table.

i have only been playing no limit

i played a few other games as well..it is all the same game basically.

but id like to play some small tables first..see what goes on...i like the idea of 10 in a tourney and the top 3 players win..i have been hitting top 20 alot with over 100 players in tourneys..and quite a few top tens

Limit is definately different in terms of strategy. Pot odds are a huge factor but if you're already assesing risk you should be golden.

You should give someone a bankroll to sit at a table. Few people in the free game but if they wanted to play real money they have 0 options right now.

That's not true, if you dont have the right cards man you can be as good as you want but you will not win, also for days. And when you play poker if you dont win it means you are losing, so dont be too much optimistic and overall dont leave your other biz :2 cents:

I will be a Professional Poker Player within the next 10 years or so for sure. Right now, I play every day online, and some weeknights I'll head out to the Taj in Atlantic City to play face to face to sharpen my poker face skills, and my read on people and their hands.

I've been playing online everyday since June 2003. I first started with a deposit of $50, lost that. Then put $50 more, lost that. Then put $55, and haven't lost since. I try to make $250 per day, and no more or less than that to keep myself from getting out of hand and too excited. Every month I increase my minimum daily win amount by $50. I win a large majority of my money in the fixed limit games, because either you have it or you don't, and try to play only 30 mins or so of NL each day just to win some big bucks. I also play the Sit & Go mini tourneys at least three times a week, and twice on the weekends.

My favorite Poker player is Phil Hellmuth Jr.
