I don't get it, why the hell should he come to the sisters funeral, that is pretty illogical. If she dosen't know the man nor is it likely her sister will. It's more probable that the man was a lover or had some other relation to the mother unknown to the sisters. Thus it is a not likely he would come. The question only reflect the professors inability to comprehend that psychopaths think no different from normal people.
