It was quite amazing to see him dare to even go that far. No Director of Central Intelligence is ever going to explicitely say the President mislead the nation during a time of war (or even peace?) You've been watching too much Fox News perhaps? |

Probably only slightly less americans think that also??

OOPS! They agreed that IRAQ might have WMDs... If they knew for a fact they had WMVs... you think FRance and Germany would have constently put in doubt the US about their WMVs proofs.. and ask for more inspections....mmmh doesnt make too much sense... If politicians/president can twist the truth a bit... Tenet also can... |

The Russian...French and German governments had their own agenda as to why they did not want the US to invade...primary reason being the more than 100 billion dollars owed to them by Saddam. |
i think that estimate is drastically low.

12 Clicks is clearly the moron here! You are the most arrogant IGNORANT (uneducated for the illiterate) of humanity and it is people such as yourself that the world sees and hears and, as a result, has such a low regard for Americans. I said earlier I had never met an American I did not like...I beg now to correct that.
Just for the record, it was your American fighter pilots that recently killed a troup of Canadian forces because they were hopped up on uppers and wouldn't know a friendly troup if it jumped up an bit them on the ass. My brother was one of those troups killed You people don't need alliances, you believe that everyone is beneath you! You are a joke 12 Clicks! A complete afront to the human race. So, with all of that said...go to the top of your browser page and read aloud...from me to you...Go Fuck Yourself! |
He's like all the others who are running for president!

I don't know anyone here that likes bush or believes the bulk of what he says ( we have around 18 employees here - most of them not in the least politically minded, but still they think he's a nasty piece of work ) Among friends and family, i don't know any that think he is doing much good for the world, it's common to hear him referred to as 'little shrub' or some varient.

AS for the French, German and Russian's reasons.. LOL LOL ... Sure.. if they didnt have those 100 billions $$ like you said.. they would have back up Bush and go against the UN , Blix, etc...!?? LOL Canada and all the other countries that were against a precipitated war must also have had billions owed by Saddam..!? If you are against Bush and Rumsfeld.. you must have an agenda ... !!!! :eek7 |

See this is where you are wrong. The American people didnt trust him to run the country. The US citizens elected Al Gore as president but the government and its electorial votes put Bush in office. At least thats how I look at it. |

They Senate Intelligence Committee has been investigating what intel was provided to the Administration for close to a year now and are close to producing their report. I do not know at this point what they will report...but I can assure you that if the majority of Democrats feel that that the Administration misinformed the American people they will be yelling it from the mountain tops. There are a couple of Democrats on the Committee that will yell it no matter what the report concludes. As for people like yourself you do not have any intention of accepting the results of the report unless it is a negative report against the Administration. Personally I sincerely hope that the Administration was not lying because the alternative is a massive intel failure not only with our 14 intel agencies but apparently the intel agencies that work with the US. Lying Administrations come and go...but the US has to be able to rely upon our intel agencies to be as accurate as is possible for the national security. |

in this instance the canadians are totally right; speaking as a texan, i think Bush is quite possibly the stupidest president Amerika has produced for over a century, and bald-face liar to boot. it pains me that i'll have to endure sharing oxygen w/ 'Shrub' when he's thrown out of office and sent back to Texas w/ his hat in hand later this year (reminiscant of his cowtow'ing stint in front of the UN last year)...
i hope he chokes on the hard pit of right-wing fundamentalist evil thats nestled in the decaying recesses of his chest... ass-hat.. :321GFY |

Of course none of the caveats were presented to the public. It was all presented as hard facts. |
