Hmm, I dunno about that. Think about it, Marilyn Monroe was famous and had the finest makeup and great makeup artists, but I don't think she's all that hot. Its definitely clothing and makeup, but besides that, dont forget that our tastes have also changed over time. What was once pretty isnt as pretty any longer, so you cant view women from ages ago who conformed to one standard of beauty and expect them to rate the same in a completely different standard of beauty.

The standards definately have changed, but I dunno, for some reason there are very few pictures I see from the 1800s or "vintage porn" where the girls look cute. Makeup and clothing aside, just their faces and stuff aren't as attractive as the girls of today. Could also be the black and white photography too.

I think that women are more beautiful now because of mixed marriages. Genes have crossed over so many times that inter-racial marriages have brought upon a whole new level of beauty.
I also agree that it's fashion and modern technology. Women can instanly become more attractive with the use of make-up and cosmetic surgery.Comment

If it were possible, and you took 100 random, fresh out of high school 18yr old girls from class of 2004
and 100 random, fresh out of high school 18yr old girls from class of 1984
and put them all in the same bikini's & hair & makeup styles....
There would be many more hot 18yr olds of 2004 compared to the 1984 girls.
Because of the food & hormones in beef/milk/cheese/poultry that girls of today have grown up THEIR ENTIRE LIVES being fed, they are MUCH more developed physically than girls of 20yrs ago.
