How do I check a domain name status report. I want to know if it's locked, on hold ..
Do you have a test page, a whois page.. that will give me the status of a domain name?

For .com/.net, the WHOIS at www.internic.net is authoritative regarding the active/lock/etc. status (updated only twice per day, though). www.whois.sc is an excellent resource, also, but not authoritative.
