Cuevas' attorneys have said they plan to sue the city for bungling the investigation. Cuevas speaks limited English and she says fire officials ignored her claims that Delimar was missing from her crib.

A retired fire marshal contested that assertion in a story Monday in the Philadelphia Daily News.

Vincent Heeney said he had Cuevas tell her story three times on the night of the fire -- including once with a Spanish-speaking firefighter -- and each time the mother said that she believed her baby was in the second-floor bedroom, but that smoke and flames prevented her from getting inside. She also spoke at length with a Spanish-speaking paramedic who took her to the hospital to be treated for burns to her face, Heeney said.

Yeah, I read about that last week, that's so crazy how she was at the birthday party and knew automatically that it was her daughter, took her into the other room and pretended she had gum in her hair and cut some off to take it to be DNA anylized. Sure enough it was her daughter.

The lady had other siblings so my guess is they look like the little girl.
