GFY is a "waste" of your time? I hear this a lot now... some people think that this is just a place to come and waste time. Joke around and goof off, and herd some sheep.

Do you honestly believe that when you come here and post that you are wasting valueable time that you could be using to do other things?

I don't! I think that gfy is the first and last stop for meeting industry peeps. Getting together and shooting the shit but when it comes down to it we all have a goal in mind.
Aside from a few obvious people (*cough*oracleporn*cough*) who just come here to whore sigs- I think that gfy is bar far the most productive hangout for the entire industry.

So when it comes down to it, is GFY a waste of time or the best time spent?

I don't deal with surfers, I deal with adult webmasters. My income is based on dealings with adult webmasters.

Therefore, posting here is NOT a waste of time.

Even those who do deal with surfers still need traffic trades, link trades, advice, support..... HELP from fellow webmasters.

Some people do take it for granted and waste their resources, but no... posting here doesn't need to be a waste of time.

It is what you make of it. Want to screw around - its obviously possible. If you want to get down to business, it gets done too.

GFY is the most valuable tool a person in the adult business could have if you ask me.

You have respectable opinions from all sides of the adult industry.. content providers, photographers, webmasters, graphic designers, etc. etc. I've made somewhat of a name for myself as a designer simply by my reputation at GFY.

There are, of course, times when I like to just come here and dick off.
