Those fucking idiots at Sympatico kept my on the phone for 90minutes, they had my running like a fucking idiot unplugging all my phones, restarting my modem and PC about 600 times, renewing ip's and shit! . After 90 minutes of testing everything out, they say "well everything is ok on your end, it must be a network problem". They could NOT figure out they had a network problem before they waisted my mornng on the phone!!!! WTF..LOL.
Anyway. I was able to reach my neighbor, turns out his is down as well. Thankfull I have also a Videotron connection here, just in case I need to vent on GFY..yea know.

I despise calling those assholes...they are clueless and always think they are talking to newbies making you do all these stupid tests and whatnot...

The only thing I dont miss about Montreal.....
Sympatico!!! Probably a labor dispute with the union. When I lived in Westmount, they used to love to cut the lines into our neighborhood, thinking we were all English imperialist power mongers...... Good Luck!

Fuck Sympatico..
Finally got off their sorry excuse for a broadband connection last year and moved to Videotron. Sharing a connection is just so much easier.. and like hell I would ever see speeds over 500 kb/s with sympatico
