Ted Williams' Son - Karma?
Remember that crazy shit when baseball legend Ted Williams died about his son John Henry stealing his body and having him cryogenically frozen?
The son who was only 35 died this weekend, got leukemia last spring it said. The son had connections to the adult Internet biz, owned a hosting company/ISP in Florida called BigHitter.

that's what i was wondering too. I doubt it - the reason he wanted to have his famous father frozen was i think to sell his DNA someday when that kind of thing was a viable business.

He owned Strictly Hosting a few years back. Super nice guy. Henry went to our convention once or twice.

tell us the real story then.
hundreds of Hall of Famers have died and i don't recall anything in the media like this about any of them, just tributes. so i fail to see any motivation for the media to pick Ted Williams and his family to create some kind of bullshit crazy story.

when i die... i wanna be frozen
i think it would be cool if they were able to bring me back but i guess it would suck if someone didnt want that to happen.. if he seriously broke his fathers last wish, then that sucks.. but i dont see someone spending so much money to go against one request.

People disliked JHW because he prevented Ted from being taken advantage. One particular case I remember in perfect detail was when NPR called and was looking to interview Ted. JHW refused them, and the guy from NPR said right on the phone, you will regret this JHW. A few weeks later, NPR was slamming JHW. The media always had a love hate relationship with Ted dating back to his playing career. Most everything you read and see on TV about the whole ordeal is utter bullshit. As I said, I worked with JHW and had the opportunity to get to know Ted. I would venture to say I am one of the few people on this planet who -really- knew JHW. -dd |
