The internet has been around longer than that. The first use was during the 60s by the government and colleges. In the early 90s it became wide use for the public.

Your right that there is still plenty of room for everybody. It's even easier now than before. Hosting is way cheaper. Buying content is way cheaper. It's just cheaper now.

The main problem I see is most people are followers and not innovators. If you come out with something new and there is a demand for it. You just need to market it right and you'll be bringing in more money than you need.
