Yes, I believe it is to be called the "Million Moron March." (No joke, that's what he called it)

I'd go.. hell, it's only an hour away. It really disturbs me to see what is going on in this country when it comes to the free flow of entertainment and information.

I hope it happens.

that would be a waste of time-everyone knows Stern has millions of listeners who want him to stay on the air, but he's up against GW Bush-who do you think will win?

I like Howard and listend to the show alittle bit before it was pulled from my area, but I think hes basically full of shit. The guy is a master manipulater.

Hes been counting the days till his contract is up, so he can move on to other projects. Hes not gonna go to satellite radio, dream on. Hes playing the martyr.

I think he has basically gotten away with murder on the radio because of his popularity and ability to sell ads the last ten years. Now that hes slipping a bit, and the end of the show has been in sight for awhile, hes vulnerable.

Half the show is about graphic sexual stuff. I find alot of it funny, but its basically gutter comedy that shouldnt be on during the day.

Is freedom of speech the right to talk about anal sex at 8am on public airwaves?

I think some people need to do research on freedom of speach, and what it truly means, and what the founding fathers based that on.

Apparently you don't listen to the show and didn't listen that much when you could. I've found from listening to his show that of his 3 and a half hours time that he's on air not in commerical that about a half hour of that is sex related at the most usually.

There's no site that I've seen yet, some guy registered millionmoronmarch.com a few days ago but there's nothing on it. marksfriggin.com is generally the biggest stern news site and he doesn't say alot about it right now.

I bet if you call Stern up since they're so familiar with your site you guys can set something up and get him to put something on his domain howardstern.com since they don't use it much right now.

that's the insanity of this bullshit - you have these right wing religious morons working their puppet Bush blackmailing the biggest media companies in the world to cleanse the airwaves claiming the American people want this. Hello? What about the TWENTY MILLION people a week who listen to Howard Stern? And probably another 20 million who listen to others who do the same stuff as Stern. A small minority of whining religious morons gets listened to but 20 million adult Americans who want this type of programming on the airwaves - their opinion counts for nothing? Crazy.

The FCC has powers it shouldn't but if you read the FCC's rules regarding indecency it comes down to the same thing obscenity laws in the United States depend on - community standards.

At his peak Howard Stern had a 10 rating share in New York City -nobody in the history of radio after the invention of TV has ever come anywhere close to that number. I think i read that translated to like one out of every 4 people who had a radio on was listening to Howard Stern. Now how in the world can any court or government body like the FCC say that a broadcaster that popular could be too indecent or obscene according to the standards of that community? It's a mockery of the law.

You're a moron.. "his ability to sell ads" ...doesn't that mean that millions of people listen to him? Advertisers want to reach the huge market that he draws.. isn't that what should be determining what is on the airwaves and what isn't?

We're all adults.. and if not, then we're responsible for our kids. Bringing a radio, TV or the internet into your home means taking responsibility for it around your kids, and accepting that you might disagree with some of the material, and might even find it offensive.

Absolutely.. to talk about anal sex, govt. misappropriations, the news and whatever else a show that gets sponshorshop from advertisers.. because that's what the public, the listening audience, wants to hear.

You should put it up, i'm sure most Stern fans visit CJ regularly and I bet if CJ flies that banner it will get mentioned on the air.
