What's the best way to get into their directory. I've been submitting for over a year and still not listed. I submitted once every week. I'm thinking they are just lazy and sometimes I dream that their backlog of approving sites is a few hundred pages long. Any tips or suggestions? thanks in advance.

most dmoz editors are there to list their sites... and only approve other sites when they need to.
I tried to clear most of my queue every week tho, when I was there. -

Becoming an editor to promote your own sites isn't allowed but I guess how would they find out right?...maybe I should apply. But if there is an editor that would take money to list my sites get in contact with me.Comment

I have a suggestion. Only submit your site ONCE. Go here to check on the status of it but only bug them once a month at most.

My mainstream site took 5 months I guess that's not too bad for DMOZ, seems like a long ass time to me.
