optical / cordless mouse users

how long do your batteries last?

i've had the same logitech optical & cordless mouse for about 2 years now.. and recently it's been eating a pair of batteries once a week..

i know when i first bought this mouse it was probably 3 months untill i replaced the original batteries..

maybe it's time to buy a new one?

If your using your computer for more than 7 hours a day, do you really need a wireless mouse and keyboard which will probably end up causing more hassle than its worth.

If you want to not sit at your desk and use your computer, i would much rather recommend just splashing out on a laptop (iBook / PowerBook). Much better purchase.
