The Worst Fuckup In This Biz Of All Time

gotta be Mansion Productions goofing up and making public their shave module for MPA2. It's still impacting people, hopefully not innocent people, over a year later and will never end. Who knows if Sextronix really was shaving but the MPA2 software involved is just making things worse for them.

the other major fuckup off the top of my head was Matrix unable to disprove against a flood of circumstantial evidence that they sold out their customers to ACACIA.

Yea, in an earlier thread I somebody stated its not the fault of Mansion Productions... but it partly is ofcourse.

There are so many fuckups in this business, you really cannot blame Mansion entirely, they wrote a product that webmasters wanted. The problem was them openly ackowledging the feature existed, it not only hurt them but their webmasters who ran their software.

The fact of the matter is that the webmasters have spoken and now its time for people to pay the consequence. All to often cheaters get rewarded in this business, its time to ackknowledge the programs who are doing shit right and tell the ones who screw their webmasters to fuck off.

Mansion Productions is a software company.

Not a marketing program.

Companies buy software to work with their needs.

Mansion is not at any fault in the use of their program.

marketing is an essential part of EVERY business. Mansion CHOSE to market their MP2A product to paysite owners, guilelessly forgetting that this is the Internet and information is gobbled up like a fat kid gobbles up chocolate and that their potential customers/endusers are not only paysite owners but also affiliates who send traffic to many affiliate programs. Including the shave module in any of their marketing materials, website, print, anything written down was beyond stupidity - that shave module should have been only discussed by phone or in person and only one person in the company authorized to even mention it - the owner.

i agree that Mansion can't be blamed for any shaving, they only provide the tools. But the blunder of letting that feature become known to the general webmaster population was a mistake of EPIC proportions - and they would admit it i'm sure privately.
go read the Sextronix threads and you'll see that the brand name MPA2 hasn't done Sextronix any favors in his bid to clear his name of the shaving accusations.

marketing begins the moment u open your eyes every morning.

Matrix. I don't know how any educated webmaster could still buy their content or use their programs.

AdultCheck. I don't know how any webmaster could continue to stay on board (Tier 1, 2), or use their affiliated products (AC Movie Pass, AC Prime, etc.).

PIBCash has to be in the top 5. Their board died when Rodney fired Tam. Their rep died even more when they were "supposedly" caught shaving. Then there is the little matter of fucking me over and losing the Toni Freeland site and the affiliates that go along with it.

Funny thing is...Even after being notified, the idiot is still using my content without a license or permission. Just waiting for the final DMCA letter and that will all be fixed though.

Most people learn after getting smacked in the head with a hammer one time. For some others it takes multiple hits with a sledge hammer.
