Paypal closed our account over night last year, we had 3k in it. I almost choked.

Now with the new account I clean it out everytime it hits around 100 dollars

Better safe than sorry, it took 6 month for us to get the money last time and than they lost they check. When we contacted them about the lost check we made arragments to send it directly into our account instead sending a check. That took another 2 month.

I think you would lose your money, as Paypal should be able to stop the transfer if they were closing your account. Should depend on how far the transfer had gone & your banks policies. So you may end up getting away with your cash, but it would be different in each situation.

Only $5.00 . I've heard too many horror stories about PayPal.. I make sure I never have any more than $5.00 in the account. I withdraw money the moment it clears.

I don't accept PayPal payments. Send me a check. I can wait a week. It's not worth the risk, IMO.

I'm also very picky about the email addresses I'll send money to. I've had to ask 2 people this week to give me alternative email addresses to send money to, their main addresses were domains of adult sites.
