Good Luck KB I wish you well in your endeavor:)

is Steve cooper involved in this club?

Basic_man 03-07-2004 03:33 PM

Good Luc with it ! :thumbsup

TheGoldenChild 03-07-2004 03:33 PM

MC-

Ok - you obviously know me better than I know myself.

Grim If I believed everything I read on this board- I would have convinced myself that i took Brad for $17,000 too!

LOL

MicroChick 03-07-2004 03:34 PM

Bullshit, Grim.

Brad Shaw said:
"Do not believe 50% of what you read on boards. And the other 50%, question it."

Most of us do not believe everything we read on the boards.
Many do not know Brad and they don't know KB.

I don't think it is asking that much to have a webmaster
prove his/her track record when soliciting funds on a
board.

Just because you know KB doesn't mean others know
shit about him or you. Just because you post like a
pregnant rabbit does not mean that I can rely on what
you say.

Get off your fucking ego trip, Grim! :2 cents:

MicroChick 03-07-2004 03:41 PM

No, Grim, I meant KB when I mentioned The Players Ball.

KB has been very active in the success of this event. Check
out the pictures. You see KB right there doing his thing
with D$. I have been to the PB in Las Vegas. I am not
a newbie, so please stop talking down to me.

You don't need to post every second of the day on the
boards to prove that you are knowledgeable. In fact,
I think the contrary holds. Too many of you post so
much shit and pat each other on the back so much that
the rest of us don't even bother to read your posts.

So Grimmy, walk on by and don't *assume* you have
all the answers.

Joe if I went to go back to work for steve Cooper I think I'd have no problem raising capital in any project -

I mean his strip bars had the highest margin of profit- when I worked for him at Tiffany's Cabaret-

He is up there with the Michael J Peters of the world

MicroChick 03-07-2004 03:50 PM

KB, for the record, when I read about the $17,000 deal, it made me very uncomfortable because I like you and Brad. I'd much rather see the two of you as a team fighting someone we all disklike.

I think you are a talented man. I keep looking for your name on a Hollywood script or performing in a Hollywood club.

I think you are too creative to deal with money issues. That was the point I was trying to make. Idea men like you and Larry David from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" should be spending your time being entertaining.......let the bookkeepers handle the money.

Alex Xe 03-07-2004 04:05 PM

Good Luck!

Trust me - Me and LARRY DAVID are the same person in so many way!
I don't book keep I promote- I never said I was doing the bar's accounting-

I am filling seats and booking the venue out for private parties once we are up and running

I didn't share the business plan with any of you, you all have NO IDEA how successful the bars I used to run in Cleveland and Columbus were and that's fine-

There is a lot about me and my personal life, that none of you have to know either-

Just know that making comments about my handling of money, and business plans that may make no sense to any of you- have worked out just fine for me....and will continue to do so- I have points in this bar and I am happy to be a part of it-

When it opens- those of you who wished me well will be the first ones I buy drinks for-

People like Mike AIl will have to "BEG" to get in the door

:BangBang:

How's that for a BEGOTHON?

If those bars you ran in Cleveland and Columbus did so well, then why are you in need of investors for a 200k project??. :1orglaugh That amount should be chump change ?

Not on an ego trip my friend, just saying what is true. People take the boards way to serious and I find it funny. You almost made a good point until you tried to toss insults into the mix, shows how professional you are.

And, honestly asking a webmaster for his own track record I myself think may be a bad idea, it may make more sense to ask for a reference and then speak to people they have had money before. A webmaster telling you how "much" he has made and then having a belief it's true is like every program saying they do not shave. lol

I know KB has been active in the success, but end of the day it's a D$ deal.

I do not post every second of the day on the boards. I actually only post on here every once in a while. It is Sunday so it's a little easier to whore.

Ah once again trying to drop an insult, I love it. I pat very few on the back, the ones I do I know, trust, and understand what they do.

Walk on by, don't assume... LOL you are to much man.

I was succesful running bars in 1990 - 1992

I have obviously moved away from that industry and to answer your question bluntly

Ever hear of OPM?

Other People's Money?

Ask Donald Trump he'll explain how that works out to your advantage using other people's money almost 99% of the time.

MicroChick 03-07-2004 05:12 PM

KB, sometimes I forget how sensitive you are.

If I take back my *money* comment, may I visit
your club? I have been trying to get you and D$
to check out an Indiana performer whom I think
would be fantastic for your summer Players Ball,
or possibly for this club.

Don't hate him because he is gorgeous! He is
quite a hunk and would bring in lots of women
to your club. :winkwink:

cayne 03-07-2004 05:18 PM

sounds nice.

It's not a slam against you. It's just my
observation.

I can see you on the stage of your club
welcoming everyone. :)

hmmmm... career advice from a bitter, confused and delusional, bi-polar, pathalogical liar, on medication who is on the run from the law.

that makes sense.

lol sing with gary coleman.

LA nightclub biz is not easy at all and you really gotto know what you are doing. I'm sure you know that the club scene here is all celebrity driven but that just means that your club can die just as quick after it takes off as celebrities are constantly looking for the next hot spot.

brilsmurf 04-04-2005 02:52 AM

lots of luck, you wont see my money in that, too risky

hydro 04-04-2005 03:00 AM

you want to make money let 100 really hot women in and then have free drinks, then let 50 loser guys in for $300 :Graucho
