I'm willing to sponsor nametags for the April one, so I don't embarrass myself talking about the finer points of domination fisting vs. sexual fisting with someone who turns out not to be a webmaster. Maybe we can take turns (bringing nametags, not fisting)

I think I already know all the dancers who hang out at The Rainbow and they can't dance while there :winkwink: Of course, we could still have a gigagood lunch there . . .

the Wild Goose - has lunch specials like ribs, tri-tip, spanish food, meat loaf . . .changes daily, they also have their regular menu with burgers, hot dogs, wings, chicken strips, salad bar.

Oh, and a full bar. http://www.thewildgoose.com/

Do you know what the allergy is caused by? I was moderately allergic to booze for most of my adult life until this fall season.

Well - mine is a strange one - it causes an irritating itch on my scalp - it's not a rash, not lice, not a skin disorder (they think it's all in my head) but the instant there is any alcohol (even in cooked foods) it gets extremely, extremely itchy. Kinda embarassing if you're in a meeting and they didn't tell you that it's cooked with booze - then you're itching like a friggen monkey. So I try to avoid it at all costs - however, when I do (it's very minimal amounts) & I don't go into convulsions.

I have to try KRL's cinnamon mixture (someone posted it in his thread) I want to see if that helps. The other thing is it may also be aggrivated by the 'stress'.

What was your case and how did you cure it???? :-)

I love when doctors are stumped and decide it must be imaginary. I had my wisdom teeth out a bit over a year and a half ago. And the empty sockets would not heal. I don't mean I got dry socket. I mean the bone would not knit. When I came back in, after like nine months of being unable to chew in the back of my mouth, they figured it was probably psychological. Until they x-rayed me and saw that it looked like just a few days of healing. When I finally found a doctor who was able to treat the lack of bone healing, an odd side effect was I stopped being allergic to booze. I used to have a pretty bad skin reaction.

hmmm interesting - do you know what meds they treated you with? I can tell you that last year I tried a new diet - very very strict, no oil, no bread, no softdrinks, little dairy. Basically it was water, boiled/broiled or steamed everything. They had given me supplements - one was calcium. I could tell you that at that point - there was less itchiness on my scalp. There could be many other factors - Everything was closest to natural - so my system was quite clean. They've test everything and quite honestly, I got fed up of their lack of knowledge & interest concerning my problem - that's not where the funding is, I guess. I just live with it - I avoid dandruff shampoos as those aggrivate me from the moment they hit my scalp and if it so happens drip on my face - I'll be irritated for the day.

I have to start doing my own research - find a cure and then market it :-))
