i have to go for "The Passion.." by Mel gibson, hearing lots of good reviews and I have yet to see the movie to experience it.
A comment from one of the review from Yahoo conducted said that "Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ will leave you emotionally tired" .

Doctor Dre 03-04-2004 10:21 AM

FOR SURE, Schindlers List was extremely touching!!!

I haven't seen "The Passion.." yet, mainly because I haven't geared myself up for it yet - I get very affected by movies and I understand it's intense.

Titanic touched me deeply. The scene where the mom was reading to her children trying to get them to go to sleep so they wouldn't be afraid... the part with the elderly couple who were lying in bed holding one another as the water rose up around their bed... everyone running, screaming, terrified...

It made me cry like no movie before or since. Just thinking of what the people on the real Titanic must have seen and felt touched me. Truly heartbreaking.

Great choice. Nice to see a film take risks and give people a nice swift kick in the gut and shake them with an ending like that!! :thumbsup

just a punk 03-04-2004 01:53 PM

Rambo III is the most touching movie for sure! It's very thrilling to see that powerful, absolutely good and true American guy Rambo blowing up Russian helicopters with just an arrow (just like Robin Hood). He defending those nice, peaceful, intelligent and friendly Taliban people against naturally even Russian army. Super! :glugglug

SykkBoy 03-04-2004 02:08 PM

Something's Gotta Give when Diane Keaton cries for all of those scenes. It's funny but coming from her, it's so sad because I have personally been there!:sadcrying

I'd have to say American History X or White Boys. Not a warm and fuzzy version of touching, but they definitely hits you.

And as a product of divorce, I'd have to say The Story of Us can get to you.

The most touching scene was when he emptied the M-60 into the "High Tech" military computers that were supposed to replace the foot soldier.

The part when he took his knife out and said "You know theres more out there. Find them or I'll find you" just put a tear in my eye :)

Missy 03-05-2004 02:40 PM

Anne Frank: The Whole Story
A made-for-TV movie, but I cried through most of it, and I rarely cry during movies.

Love Liza
Kind of slow at times, but it literally made my heart hurt.
