he will never see a dime from me for shutting off my feeds without notice and making me change several hundred links in the same day because of this. the bill was 24hrs past due. what fucking place on earth sends you an invoice and makes it due immediatly? any reasonable place doesnt do this. we have a system, we have an accountant that pays invoices 2 times a month.

I remember getting my content bills from babenet on or after the day they were due. They sent them at the end of the month and I had till the 5th to pay. They never shut my feeds off though. Just charged me interest. Oh yeah I got outta paying that too all I had to do was tell them to take the damn interest charges off and quit being dinks or they were gonna lose a customer. Smooth sailing after that (and a price reduction).

Not trying to start anything here but that is very common practice. I know from past experiance that when ever I start dealing with someone new the first invoice should be marked as Payment Due Upon Recept. Depending on my mood that day it may have to be made before I will provide any service. I have been screwed too many times in the past with non-payment. After the first month is paid for it's usually more casual because there is at least the begining of a trusting relationship (ie. I've been paid before this person will pay again).

LOL I actually told them that once, used a different choice of words though. It was more along the lines of Hi, Bree I'm gonna have to cancel your feeds. To which I got into an hour long phone talk about some of the problems I was encountering with them (some not working, BW capping that was casueing members durring peak times to not be able to access them etc...) to which I got the previous month credited, the BW cap increased, 2 more feeds packages for free and $250 taken off the monthly bill. :) If I had just told them to fuck off I'm not paying knowing them the feeds would have been shut off and it would have ended in a lawsuit.
