Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Epoch users & programmers
Arrgh.
Okay with Epoch, an affiliate (reseller) and a webmaster who refers other webmasters (referrer) are 2 totally separate things. They require 2 separate signup forms. The way it *appears* that Flashcash does it is by having the affiliate part and referrer part as two different programs with two different signups. I don't want my affiliates to have to do that. I'd like them to be able to sign up once and it's all done. I was thinking I could have them signup through the reseller form, it posts back to my server, where I bounce the info over to the referrer form. That's okay enough, but I don't want my program's password involved in the posting data, in the URL, or even as a hidden field anywhere on the page - and this is something that Epoch requires. I thought about having an entire hidden page do a window.onload.event when they came back from the reseller signup form that would send the data over, but for folks with popup blockers this most likely wouldn't work. How are you guys doing this? |
