I didn't like the traditional headlights... the new lights are more modern and fit the body nicely. I think Chevy will do good with sales of the new 2005 Vette. :thumbsup

Whoa... that's nice :) I guess the renewed popularity of racing has brought on the second coming of the muscle cars. Too bad gas costs $2+ per gallon this time. |
that new mustang looks awesome
|
Looks like an upgraded version of the old school styles, I actually like it.
|
98 version on the back, classic 70's verison in the front...
NICEEEEE!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup |
the mustang is ugly, but I really like the corvette. Maybe that is because it looks forgein like someone said
|
So the new corvette pretty much looks exactly like the old one except with an extra light in the headlights, and the new mustang will still handle like shit. :thumbsup :winkwink:
|
Sadly with almost 40 years better technology they couldn't make it look as good.

There's no doubt that the Vette will beat out the new Mustang, but for twice the price of a new top end Mustang I'd expect to. |

Pretty fucking nice looking :thumbsup Im really not a corvette fan either! |
I was a Mustang weenie 10 years ago. I was restoring a 66 fastback and it was wrecked by a friggin' Pontiac Fiero. :(
I had a full new Interior Kit inside tha car when the guy hit me. I was wearing my Mustang Club jacket too. <sniffle> I got Mustang Magazine and loved each copy. :) Back in '89 the then still new look was cool. But my dream was a '69 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet. Or- 69 Boss 429. :winkwink: http://www.mustangreview.com/1969boss429.htm I think 1969 had some of the coolest car designs. When I first saw the 2005 I was pretty impressed. Not sure about the back end and it needs a few after market parts like a wing IMO. I read the 2005 GT will offer 300HP and priced will remain within the Mustang budget. THAT is what the Mustang was about. Screw good breaks and handling. Stuff the fucker with hyooge HP and we can upgrade the other parts in due time. :thumbsup I agree the 66-69's have a great appeal, but it's like driving a bathtub on wheels as far as the regular Mustangs are concerned. The 2005 will probably excel in every way performance wise compared to the 66-69's. With Chevy killing the Camaro the Mustang holds a nice market position. Good package out of the box with huge potential for after market parts. This will be a good seller because it is cheap enough to be a 'grocery getter' in base model and has the potential to be a genuine muscle car for the average Joe. :) |
I like the new one much better.

yeah it does look like the older cars, i prefer rice burners but the car does look hot
|
I had a 66 fastback I was fixing up myself once. Long story...
|
That first pics looks sweet
So does the link to the red corvette, and I am not a red car fan! Corvettes and Mustangs are my fav little cars. Definitely feel that both new designs are top notch. I have not been a fan of the last Mustang design at all. Now I am off tolook at em in blue... |
