I had a 600 for my first bike (GSX-R 600, 2001) would you care to see the scaring on my arms?
My advice to you is to take it slowly...don't jump right on the honda, start off with a 500 street-bike or something. Just my two cents! Keep your wheels down and your head up.. -Mr. T

2000 R6....
![]() at Deal's Gap aka Tail of The Dragon in North Carolina 318 turns in 11 miles ![]() ![]() go get all the bike magazines you can find....and also do some forum reading.....a used Honda CBR600 is a pretty good choice for a first sport bike. Any bike can get you into trouble...just respect it and take it easy. Good Sportbike Forums - http://www.sportbikes.ws/index.php?s= http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/index.php?s= Also definitely look into the Motorcycle Safety Foundation class. http://www.msf-usa.org/ ![]() I took the MSF class over a weekend, had my bike delivered to my house on a Monday....that same week on Friday I took her in for the 600 mile service. ![]() |

Do some rider safety courses and as mentioned read and check out all you can beforehand and be very car aware. Good luck and happy miles!
