Here's a perfect example of bad parenting.

My daughter had a computer in her room at 7 with internet hookup, and email. She has bookmarks, and is not allowed to visit any site I don't bookmark for her. She is also not allowed to check her mail until I have gone through it first. Very easy to keep her from seeing things I don't want her to see. If you are in this biz, and let a child check their own mail, then don't come here bitching.

Hmm... I get spam to my affiliate account emails too, but I'm not sure what that has to do with his post. He's saying it came to his 7 year old's email. And not that stuff like that doesn't happen - you just have to consider the source here.

Do a search under his name and you'll see what I mean. I don't believe it for a second, and ANY sponsor that suspended an affiliate's account based on what VV says, is crazy.

Look there is some GOOD things and BAD things on the internet . For kids there are plenty of sites with nice games ... tv channels sites etc . They can learn a lot too with some CD roms etc.

But there is the spam and porn . If you install a good anti-spam like norton's one and a net nanny or something like that it's kinda safe.

Sorry, but if you're a parent and your kid is under 12 and is on the internet WITHOUT absolutely DIRECT supervision of activies- you're not doing a very good job.
