firstly, they do send out atleast two, I think three warning emails when your domain is about to expire including on the day.

Secondly, they are doing you a favour by holding the domain. Otherwise someone else could grab it from you.

Thirdly, they are worth the extra money.

There's not really much can be added to this other than - wow, what a fucking idiot and still he continues to dig the hole deeper. :1orglaugh

Yeah I don't think directNIC has that option. But whatver, I've never accidentaly let a domain expire with them.

man, seriously, it's almost annoying the amount of mails they send you to see if you'll re-register. and they even let you renew 2 months after the domain expires before letting it go, what do you want? a limo to your house with a hot girl who gives you ablowjob and after that she tells that your domains are about to expire? :winkwink:

Anyways Fletch XXX, and no I won't marry you, and I don't want to renew with DirectNIC.com, because GoDaddy.com is about $8.00 less per year.

And they are now forcing me to renew with them, because they won't unlock the domains.

I guess it's just me, but that seems a bit strange.

Goddamn, what a stupid whiney bitch. I do believe that the reason they won't let you transfer the domain after it has expired is due to ICANN regulations. You have to register, and then transfer, regardless of what registrar you use.

I only ever registered a few domains with DirectNic (I use RegisterFly) and i got 3 reminder emails for each one.

More than likely, your email is fucking up. DirectNic is not to blame; you're just an idiot.

Directnic have good service, but expensive prices.

pornkitten 02-29-2004 02:51 AM

I dont know how people are able to steal domains when I cant even trasfer mine, news for you all of the registers suck u just have to choice which problems u want to deal with.

VeriSexy 02-29-2004 02:57 AM

I used them before and never used them again. I never liked their interface

cheekycherry 02-29-2004 03:38 AM

Godaddy suck ass... Wait till they hit you with a random single spam complaint (I have never spammed). They'll lock your account, and you'll pay either $29 (ransom fee) or $100 to solve your probs... then that $8 don't seem so good.

DirectNic have been better for me so far.

Living For Today 02-29-2004 04:49 AM

one of the dearest but one of the best. im trying out godaddy at the moment so ill have about half and half there and directnic. directnics ease of use is fantastic.
