with just hosting html / galleries, you would probably never notice a difference.

cgi, dbase, etc runs up the cpu, not really pics.

Of course getting 1gig ram wouldn't be bad either :)

i didn't think it'd make much of a difference, but i wanted to make sure.

If you run FreeBSD, we'll recompile the kernel for you so it can handle more hits and traffic.

Running Alot of TGP/MGP scripts is another story.

Forgot to mention if you need it we can swip your ips to you as well and set it up for rDNS.

This looks like a pretty good deal. I'm paying $350 a month for a dedicated 1mbps server

RAM is more important than processor. If you are running lots of processes, the more RAM the better.

For static HTML pages, is 512 MB of RAM enough?
