True..but it's not a question of wrong or right..it's just a question of perspective.

I wouldn't spend $10k on sound system for my car regardless of whether I had the money or not but I wouldn't think twice about spending it on some Rolex bling bling. To each his own..

Do you have any idea how many people have sigs off? :1orglaugh

JunkyardDog 02-28-2004 11:54 AM

branding and exposure on one of the best characters on the board. I say character because sleazy is much different in person. Most times :-)

I'm sure a lot of people do.

But be honest man, how can you sell your sig and then laugh about something like that or even suggest people do it?
Don't you think that's doing a disservice to the fine people who bought it? ;)

You might as well put links on all of your front pages to:
pop up blockers
image suckers
newsgroups and newsreaders

the list goes on ;)

Not that many.

Besides, all the attention Lars has garnered doesn't require sigs to be turned on. Here you are, posting in a thread about LegendaryLars dropping $12K+ on a sig. Whether or not you have sigs turned on, you've already heard all about it and you've already got LegendaryLars on your mind.

I didn't suggest to do it. I am just speaking the truth and pointing out the obvious.
I surf with sigs on because I do feel the need to look out for new things to promote.

And many other smart people (like us) surf with sigs on just to do the very same. Sigs are there for a reason.

:)

Yes you are right. But will it make me want to check out his program more? I mean, established webmasters know about this program anyway and use it religiously.

It just still boggles my mind that... ah whatever, I am tired, can't focus and I don't understand half of what's going on in this pathetic world anyway.

Not every single established webmaster is signed up for every single program. One guy making 5 or 6 sales a day will make $12K for Lars in a few months.

Here's another reason: Why does McDonald's still make commercials? Why does Microsoft run ads for Windows? Brand name recognition.

That's why in a nutshell.

A great name is priceless.

Agreed ! Plus sleazy and I have a long term business relationship He does awesome with my live feeds and I have helped sponsor most of the Elite TGP parties. He has helped introduce me to tons of TGP heavyweights that I did not know and we are now featured on many prominent TGP's . So you really have to look at a 3 year biz relationship more than a one time shot. Sleazy and I will be doing alot more buisness together soon, and this is simply part of our ongoing biz relationship. 12k for 3 years of introductions is nothing !! I have made prolly more than 200K off of sleazys contacts in those years. Now tell me whos the Dumbass LOL
