Best Horror Films?

I like to have movies on while I work. Last night I picked up Halloween, Dawn of the Dead, and Faculty.

Which horror films should I look for next?

I just saw this one a few weeks ago that I rented.

I think that Dusku (sp?) chick was in it, looked pretty new.

These kids are driving in like West Virginia or something and are getting hunted down by the canable hillbilly's.

Sounds hoaky, but it made me jump a few times

The Ring is pretty cool.

But the best horror experience is playin "Silent Hill" 1 or 3 on a playstation. Scary stuff!

I think it was Silent Hill or Clocktower or something like that that really freaked me out. It was a little girl trying to kill me with a knife. Its pretty bad when the games spook you

Yup hence why I said depends. Some like slashers, others gore, some psychological terror, some just like loud noises and cats jumping out of the fucking cabinet, or plain spooky story lines or something original.

yes I lost all concept of the english language in that post I aint fixing it.

yea Evil Dead 2 is great, but it isn't the scariest fucking movie... more plain goofy than anything.

I was lucky enough to see it in a drive-in theater when it was released, that was pretty cool.

Thats a lot of favorites. If you were to pick the best 5 lesser known gems of these, which would you choose ?

I would definitely go with Ginger Snaps and Dog Soldiers in this list too.

I've got the limited edition 8 disc Guinea Pig box set. I've only watched the first one "Devil's Experiment". Very brutal stuff. I've got Junk on dvd, but haven't watched it. I've seen the first Evil Dead Trap, I liked it, haven't seen part 2 yet. Another good Japanse film I would recommend is Stacy
